Can the one, whose life goals are not ambitious, be considered ordinary as a personality? Is it necessary to become somebody to enjoy the things you have and to be a star of your own reality? Lolita Kiricenka and Dovile Berlinskaite are presenting international social documentary photography project “Ordinary Stars“, which is telling the stories of often unnoticed people, who share their experiences and individual approach to life in post-soviet countries. Through this project authors want to reveal the uniqueness of every person and at the same time show that all of us are similar, despite our nationality, social status and other external criteria. Photographs were taken from year 2013 to 2015 in Lithuania, Georgia, Russia and Belarus. Project was presented in 2 solo exhibitions held in Container gallery (Tbilisi) and UMI gallery Kalnas (Vilnius) in 2016.
